Black Dog Archers

Introduction

The Black Dog Archers club was set up to promote and develop the pastime of field archery, we are based in Piercestown Woods 4 miles outside Carrigaline co Cork.

We shoot on the first Sunday of the month at 10.00 am.

As a field Archery Club we emphasise all styles of bow from the primitive to the high tech.

Our course is a 14 target 2D round that are laid out in a trail within the woods.

We are recognised by I.F.A.F , Irish Field Archery Association which is affiliated to International Field Archery Association . This allows our members participate in both national and international Field Archery events.

Training New Members

We offer full introduction training for beginners using a range of different style bows.

During our training we cover

Our training is designed to bring a beginner to full IFAF card standard this is achieved by complying with IFAF’s published 16 point training schedule.

This allows our members to join IFAF and avail of the host of IFAF events which are held through out the year.
